Potemayo Characters (Bio)
Potemayo
Potemayo, a chibi like doll. Emotional and animated, she is very attached to Sunao.
her personality is practically the polar opposite of Sunao's temperament.
She appeared one day in Sunao's refrigerator.
Sunao named her after a Potatoe and Mayonnaise bun sandwich.
"honi, honi, honi" is her favorite phrase.
Potemayo is very protective of Sunao, growls and attacks others who seek Sunao's affection.
Potemayo rides around most of the time on Sunao's head.
A small chick named Tori hangs around Potemayo and will often sit on her head.

Guchuko
Guchuko, another chibi like doll. Sullen, self sufficient, and loves treats made by Kyo (see below).
Guchuko was named by Kyo Takamimori shortly after she ran into Guchuko at school.
Guchuko in Japanese means a small chocolate ball (guchu), who also happens to love eating small chocolate balls.
Guchuko has two living horns on either side of her head.
Guchuko often repays Kyo for her treats by putting pig or cow carcasses in front of her house (much to Kyo's mother horror).

Sunao Moriyama
Sunao, male, caretaker to potemayo has a serious attitude about him, self sufficient, and shows very little emotion.
He found and named Potemayo.
He looks after Potemayo, taking her to school with him each day.
Sunao's mother passed away when he was younger, and his father is almost never home.

Mikan Natsu
Mikan, female, classmate of Sunao who also has a huge crush on him.
She spaces out (or nose bleeds) whenever thinking about Sunao.

Kyo Takamimori
Kyo, female, classmate of Sunao, and Mikan's close friend.
An excellent cook she feeds Guchuko with treats.

Nene Kasugano
|
Nene, female, classmate of Sunao, and is a close friend to Mikan.
Nene is very rich and spoiled. She has three older brothers that adore her (a little too much).

Mudo Kirihara
Mudo, male, classmate of Sunao. He adores Potemayo, and dreams how she would feel when touched, rubbed or petted.
Mudo became a slave to Nene for some transgression that occurred on Valentine's day.
Mudo is also part of the cheerleading squad, and has a full female costume that he wears. Kaoru (see below) is strangely attracted to Mudo.

Kaoru Hatsushiba
Kaoru, male, classmate of Sunao and is a close friend to Mudo (too close one might say).
Kaoru is attracted to Mudo. Always making gay-like references and pulls out a video camera
whenever Mudo puts on his cheerleading costume.

Kodai Moriyama
Kodai, male, father of Sunao, and is a folklorist.
He has a childlike personality.
Kodai is often away on his travels.

Yasumi Natsu
Yasumi, male, younger brother of Mikan, he is the younger sibling even though he is much taller than Mikan.
Yasumi is annoyed is annoyed at his sister's crush with Sunao.

Tomari Seki
Tomari, female, student at the same elementary school as Sunao.
She first met Potemayo while chasing Guchuko after she stole some chestnuts from her.
Tomari looks like a boy (tomboy).

Miku Moriyama
Miku is Sunao's late mother.
She fell ill and died a few years before the story of Potemayo begins.
